Dieser Kurzfilm ist ein Kommentar zu vergangenen, unerzählten Geschichten, die nicht erneut inszeniert werden müssen. Stattdessen entsteht eine neue Poesie, die sich über sie legt und dem Tribut zollt, was erinnert werden möchte. In Bewegung und Klang finden wir einen idealen Weg, Türen in die nahe Zukunft zu öffnen und neue Bedeutungen jener unsichtbaren Kräfte hervorzurufen, die den Raum bewohnen.

This short is a comment on past untold histories that do not need to be re-enacted, but instead create new poetry that overlaps and pays a tribute to whatever wants to be remembered. In movements and sounds we find the perfect way to open doors to the near future, awakening new meanings of the invisible forces that inhabit the space.

// Marc Philipp Gabriel und Tis Aly sind in Berlin lebende Performancekünstler. Tis’ künstlerische Arbeit ist ein Ort der Kollision und Begegnung, an dem sich in seiner performancebasierten Praxis das Individuelle und das Kollektive zugleich treffen. Seine Perspektive als queere BIPOC-Person spiegelt sich ebenfalls in seiner künstlerischen Arbeit und in seinem Wunsch nach sozialer Gerechtigkeit wider. Marc arbeitet aus der Perspektive von Tanz und Bewegung an der Schnittstelle von Körper, Stimme, Installation, Video und Architektur. Seine Arbeiten eröffnen unkonventionelle Perspektiven auf gesellschaftliche Normen und tragen zum Diskurs über zukünftige Modelle unseres Zusammenlebens auf und mit dem Planeten Erde bei. Ihre Tanzfilme wurden auf Filmfestivals weltweit gezeigt.

/Marc Philipp Gabriel and Tis Aly are Berlin based performance artists. Tis’ artistic work is a place of collision, meeting the individual and the collective simultaneously in his performance-based practice. Beeing a queer BIPOC also reflects in his artistic practice and the wish for social justice. Marc is working between body, voice, installation, video and architecture from the perspective of dance and movement. His work offers unconventional angles on social norms, contributing to the discourse of future models of how to be together on and with planet Earth. Their dance films were screened at film festivals throughout the world.
