POOL MOVEMENT ART FILM Festival Berlin focuses on films that do more than document dance: through the interplay of physical and cinematic movement, they create independent film choreographies.
Our digital article series POOL dives deeper explores the depth and diversity of this experimental format through essays and interviews. Looking beneath the surface of the films, the series examines the contexts, practices and imaginaries that bring the artists’ works to life. It also traces artistic histories connected to the development of POOL SHINE.
