Narelle Benjamin got the idea for the film from a recurring dream she had of a house teetering on the edge of a cliff above a raging ocean. Beresford realises this vision as a gothic fairytale landscape and uses her dancers to convey the different shapes water can take-ultimately exploring the connections between water and the human mind.
