Shot in an industrial zone of Lausanne where prostitutes mingle with worker from a marshalling yard. Blind Date tells the story of a quest. Mika, the young man totally subservient to the constraints of work and society, feels as though he is barely alive, cut off from his desires. He dies in a car crash with his girlfriend. He struggles briefly to stay alive. The film develops this moment of resistance, which is actually a poetic parenthesis about hoe difficult it is fir us to abandon ourselves.
